Pacific Bell, a California phone company owned by AT&T, has agreed to pay $2.235 million to settle a class action lawsuit alleging violations of California labor laws. The lawsuit claimed Pacific Bell underpaid employees and failed to reimburse business expenses.
While Pacific Bell denies any wrongdoing, they agreed to the settlement to resolve the lawsuit. The amount each person receives will depend on the number of claims filed and the workweeks they qualify for.
