This settlement is for individuals who applied to positions with AMF and related companies in Washington between January 1, 2023, and July 25, 2024.
The class action lawsuit alleges that AMF Bowling Centers and its affiliates violated Washington’s wage transparency requirements by not providing wage or salary ranges and benefit information on job listings. Washington law requires these details to promote fair wages and support equal pay.
Although AMF admits no wrongdoing, it has agreed to pay a minimum of $1.6 million and up to $3.18 million to resolve the allegations.
Under the settlement, eligible class members will receive an equal share of the net settlement fund. According to estimates, each claimant could receive at least $1,384, with payments capped at $5,000, depending on the number of valid claims filed. The deadline to submit a claim is November 11, 2024.
