To receive reimbursement for out-of-pocket expenses and extraordinary losses, class members must provide proof of purchase and documentation of expenses related to the data breach. Accepted forms of proof include:

• Account statements
• Professional invoices
• Bills and receipts
• Loan statements
• Credit reports
• Tax documents
• Police reports
• Other documentation that shows data breach-related expenses

A class action lawsuit was filed against See Tickets following a data breach in September 2023, which allegedly exposed payment card information of consumers. The lawsuit claims that See Tickets failed to protect consumer data, leading to unauthorized access and potential misuse of the information. See Tickets denies any wrongdoing but agreed to a $3.25 million settlement to resolve the lawsuit.

Under the terms of the settlement, eligible class members can receive the following benefits:

1. Reimbursement for Losses:
   • Out-of-Pocket Expenses: Up to $2,000 for expenses such as bank fees, communication charges, interest on short-term loans, credit expenses, travel costs, and other documented costs related to the data breach.
   • Extraordinary Losses: Up to $5,000 for documented extraordinary losses due to the data breach, such as identity theft or fraud-related damages.
2. Credit Monitoring or Alternative Payment:
   • Class members may choose either:
     • Three years of free credit monitoring services, or
     • A pro rata alternative payment of up to $100.
3. California Subclass Payment:
   • California residents affected by the data breach are eligible for an additional payment of $100, though this amount may be reduced depending on the number of claims filed.

To receive the benefits, class members must submit a valid claim form along with documentation such as account statements, invoices, receipts, credit reports, or other evidence of data breach-related expenses. The deadline to submit a claim form is October 20, 2024.
