A class action lawsuit against RPM has been settled for $5.6 million following a data security incident in April 2021, which allegedly exposed the personal identifying information (PII) of affected individuals. Plaintiffs claim RPM failed to implement reasonable security measures to protect the PII. RPM denies any wrongdoing but has agreed to settle to avoid further litigation.
