Rayus Radiology Privacy Class Action Settlement

Patients of Rayus Radiology (including Center for Diagnostic Imaging, Insight Imaging, and Diagnostic Centers of America) who had a patient portal account and visited the Rayus website at least once between Jan. 1, 2018, and Dec. 31, 2023.

Rayus Radiology has agreed to resolve allegations that it disclosed sensitive patient data to third-party companies without obtaining proper consent. The settlement covers patients who used the company’s online services during a five-year window.

According to the lawsuit, plaintiffs claimed they were unaware that Rayus Radiology was sharing their personal data and would not have used the company’s services had they known. The shared information allegedly included personally identifiable details obtained through patient portal activity and website usage.

Rayus Radiology, a nationwide imaging services provider with over 50 locations, denied any wrongdoing but agreed to a settlement to put the legal matter to rest.

Class members are eligible to receive a $25 cash payment if they submit a valid claim. In addition, they can opt in for a free Privacy Shield Pro product trial. This product offers identity monitoring features intended to help users manage their digital privacy.

The deadline to file a claim is January 29, 2026. Class members who wish to object or opt out must do so by December 1, 2025. The final approval hearing is scheduled for December 18, 2025.
