Individuals who received a data breach notice from PRGX Global informing them their information may have been compromised in the April 2022 cybersecurity incident.

PRGX Global Inc., a data analytics company serving industries such as healthcare, retail, and technology, has agreed to a $675,000 settlement to resolve claims that it failed to protect sensitive consumer data during a cybersecurity incident in April 2022.

Plaintiffs allege PRGX did not implement reasonable cybersecurity measures to safeguard sensitive information, leaving it vulnerable to a data breach. The compromised data exposed individuals to risks such as identity theft and fraud.

PRGX denies any wrongdoing but agreed to settle the claims to avoid prolonged litigation.

Under the terms of the settlement, eligible class members can receive the following benefits:

1. Reimbursement for Documented Losses:

   • Up to $600 for out-of-pocket expenses, including:
     • Bank fees
     • Communication charges
     • Credit expenses
     • Up to three hours of lost time at $30/hour.

2. Reimbursement for Extraordinary Losses:

   • Up to $5,000 for significant unreimbursed fraud or identity theft directly related to the breach.

3. Alternative Cash Payment:

   • Up to $75 for class members who did not experience out-of-pocket losses or extraordinary damages.

4. Free Credit Monitoring Services:

   • Three years of credit monitoring and identity theft protection services are available to claimants making reimbursement claims.
   • Claimants opting for the alternative cash payment are not eligible for these services.

Submit a valid claim form by Jan. 2, 2025, with required documentation to receive settlement benefits.
