Kannact has agreed to a $700,000 settlement to resolve allegations that it failed to protect sensitive consumer information during a March 2023 data breach. Plaintiffs claim that hackers gained access to Kannact’s systems, exposing names, addresses, Social Security numbers, health insurance details, and medical data.
