Andrews McMeel Universal (AMU) has agreed to a $350,000 settlement to resolve claims that it failed to protect sensitive personal information during a data breach in November 2022. Plaintiffs allege the company could have prevented the breach by implementing reasonable cybersecurity measures.
AMU, a media and entertainment company, denies any wrongdoing but has agreed to the settlement to resolve these allegations.
