A class action lawsuit alleged that Progressive County Mutual Insurance Company failed to pay timely interest on medical bills submitted for personal injury protection (PIP) benefits within the statutory deadlines required by Texas law. Plaintiffs claimed that they and other Progressive customers are owed interest for alleged late payments on covered medical bills. Without admitting any wrongdoing, Progressive agreed to an $8 million class action settlement to resolve these allegations.
Your estimated payment, if eligible, will vary based on an objective formula applied to Progressive's existing PIP billing data. You are not guaranteed a specific payment amount.

• Dual Class Members: If you qualify under both the 15-day and 30-day classes, you may receive a two-stage payment. The first stage may include 11.452% interest for the period between the 15th business day and the 30th day.
