Current and former SFCU checking account holders who were charged two or more NSF fees or an NSF fee followed by an overdraft fee on the same ACH transaction or check between June 19, 2016, and Sept. 22, 2025, are eligible.

About This Settlement

A class action lawsuit alleged that Stanford Federal Credit Union (SFCU) charged multiple non-sufficient funds (NSF) fees on transactions that had already been assessed an NSF fee, and also allegedly charged overdraft fees on transactions that had already incurred an NSF fee — practices that allegedly violated the credit union's own account agreements. • No proof of purchase or documentation is required to receive benefits

What You May Receive

Eligible class members may receive a cash payment based on the number of NSF and overdraft fees they were charged during the class period (June 19, 2016 – September 22, 2025).
