Ann Taylor & Loft Outlet False Discount Settlement

Consumers who purchased one or more products at a purported discount at Ann Taylor Factory or Loft Outlet stores in California, New York, Ohio, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Texas, Washington, or Wisconsin and did not receive a refund or credit for those purchases.

Eligible purchase periods by state:

• California: Sept. 4, 2020 – Nov. 4, 2024

• New York: Sept. 4, 2021 – Nov. 4, 2024

• Ohio: Sept. 4, 2022 – Nov. 4, 2024

• Oregon: Sept. 4, 2023 – Nov. 4, 2024

• Pennsylvania: Sept. 4, 2018 – Nov. 4, 2024

• Texas: Sept. 4, 2022 – Nov. 4, 2024

• Washington: Sept. 4, 2020 – Nov. 4, 2024

• Wisconsin: Sept. 4, 2021 – Nov. 4, 2024

Premium Brands OpCo LLC, the company behind Ann Taylor Factory and Loft Outlet stores, has agreed to resolve allegations that it misrepresented discounts to customers. According to the lawsuit, the stores promoted inflated “original prices” to create the illusion of savings that didn’t actually exist.

The lawsuit claimed this practice violated consumer protection laws in several states by deceiving shoppers about the true value of their purchases.

Though the company denies any wrongdoing, it chose to settle in order to put the matter to rest.

What Class Members Can Receive

Eligible shoppers will receive an $11 settlement voucher, which can be redeemed at any Ann Taylor Factory or Loft Outlet location. The voucher:

• May be used on any regularly discounted item

• Is transferable to anyone

• Can be stacked with existing sales or promotional offers

Class members who have an email address on record with the settlement administrator will automatically be sent a voucher. Others must submit a valid claim form by the deadline to receive one.
