$275M Sandoz & Fougera Generic Drug Price-Fixing Settlement

Persons and entities in the 50 U.S. states (except Indiana and Ohio), D.C., Puerto Rico, and the U.S. Virgin Islands who indirectly purchased, paid for, or reimbursed covered generic drugs from May 1, 2009, to Dec. 31, 2019, other than for resale, may qualify.

Claimants must provide the pharmacy name, purchase date, prescription number, total out-of-pocket amount paid, any health insurance reimbursement amount, and total amount paid for all covered prescriptions during the class period.

About This Settlement

Plaintiffs allege that Sandoz Inc., Fougera Pharmaceuticals Inc., and other generic drug manufacturers allegedly conspired to raise and fix the prices of certain generic drugs, causing consumers and third-party payers to overpay. Sandoz and Fougera have not admitted any wrongdoing but have agreed to a $275 million settlement to resolve these allegations. Who Qualifies

• You may be eligible to file a claim if you meet ALL of the following criteria:
• Geography: You reside or are located in one of the 50 United States (excluding Indiana and Ohio), the District of Columbia, Puerto Rico, or the U.S. Virgin Islands
• Purchase Type: You indirectly purchased, paid for, and/or provided reimbursement for any named generic drugs covered by the settlement — not for resale purposes
• Date Range: Your qualifying purchases were made between May 1, 2009, and December 31, 2019
• Who Qualifies: Both individual consumers and third-party payers (such as insurers or benefit plans) may be eligible
• Proof Required: You will need to provide the pharmacy name, date(s) of purchase, prescription number(s), total amount paid out of pocket, amount paid by health insurance (if any), and total amount paid for all covered prescriptions during the class period

What You May Receive

If your claim is approved, you may receive a cash payment from the $275 million settlement fund. The exact amount you may receive will vary and is not guaranteed. Payments are calculated based on how much you paid for covered generic drugs during the class period (May 1, 2009–December 31, 2019) — claimants who paid more for covered drugs may receive a larger proportional share of the net settlement fund. Final payment amounts will depend on the total number of valid claims submitted and cannot be determined in advance.

2. Gather your documentation — you will need the pharmacy name(s), date(s) of purchase, prescription number(s), total amount you paid out of pocket, any amount paid by health insurance, and your total spending on covered prescriptions during the May 1, 2009–December 31, 2019 class period.
3. Complete the claim form accurately and in full, using the documentation you gathered in Step 2.
4. Submit your claim by November 9, 2026 — claims must be submitted via the settlement website at GenericDrugsEndPayerSettlement.com before this deadline. Late claims may not be accepted.
